Well Sy had only been up with us for a couple of hours, when the Doc decided now was the time to have him circumcised. They said it wasn't that big deal, but ever since he had the procedure done this LIL blonde haired nurse(no not the same one as before) won't leave his side. I told her everything was all right but she still has been hanging around all afternoon. I thought at first she was just giving him extra attention, but when she started asking where he lived and when he turns 18 I grew a little worried. I thought about maybe filing a restraining order but I can hardly blame her for falling for our young man, plus Farrah and I thought it might be a way to supplement our income for the following years. If Sy was able to get a Sugar Mama right away, we might be able to send him to Ivy school.
All I can say is ouch, thank goodness they do that to you on Day3, and not age 33.

Wow - you guys are all over this site, aren't you? I'm so glad that today has been a good day. I can't believe the sense of humor you guys have about everything. He's only 3 days old - talking about things he may do when he is 18 is something that would never cross my mind! :)
Hello, everyone! Poor little Sy . . . it must have been painful, but he'll thank you one day. We're hoping you guys get to go home tomorrow. We're looking forward to seeing you soon.
- Love, Auntie Andrea
And the girls wonder why us guys are so grumpy!
Glad to hear that things are going well! This blog thing is great maybe I should get into the 21st century!
WOW! If that procedure doesn't make your spine tingle, I don't know what will. Check Sy's chest in the morning for a few hairs...if that doesn't grow some, I don't know what will.
Good to see things are coming along with the youngster. I'll let you in a little secret though, they never stop worrying you.
How long are you going to keep this site going? I would like to suggest 3 years. This way we can watch the trend and the emotion change over the years. Right now it is so touchy feely (especially from dad) and giddy (don't get me wrong it is great and refreshing and brings back great memories). I can't wait for this posting from dad:
DAY 922: Well I woke up this morning to hear the little bundle of joy playing and giggling and thought that I would leave him there for a bit. I got my shirt and tie on and went in to greet him. Seems the young man had found some new toys to play with as he took his diaper off and was finger painting on the wall with his decorative crayons. Needless to say, I got him in the bath as the wife cleaned the room...and the walls. Got him cleaned up and out of the bath, but not quick enough as the cold air excited him as his squirt gun soaked my shirt and tie. Now I'm late for work and can't get there until 10 (that's only 5 min late for Ja though).
DAY 1001: Weather was nice today so I came straght home from work to play with the little gunner. Thought we would work a little on his t-ball game. I was standing behind him and Farrah yells to me to not forget to let the dogs in. I turned back in acknowlegement not noticing that Sy took his first David Ortiz practice swing missing the ball and stiking nothing but "Richie and the Tamborines." I am now sitting on a five gallon bucket of ice water watching Farrah feed Sy as he laughs at me because I'm still cross-eyed. Did he do this on purpose???
DAY 1002: Picked up a new mini van today - needed a little more room. Sy was playing on his motorized dump truck as I ran in for a short moment beeming with pride over my stow-n-go seating and telling Farrah that her man got a great deal on the van and that it rides beautifully! Jumped back out the door (still proud of his new mini van) calling out "Sy, let's check out how much room we got with the stow-n-go!" As a came around the front of the van I got to watch Sy back his dump truck into the side of the mini van at full speed - laughing...for what was evident the 5th time. The little bugger got me in real trouble with the wife because she couldn't believe I bought a van with dents in it.
Guarentee that one of these happens to you! Have fun now! But it's more fun later!
Take care!
The one time in life I am glad that I am not a man!
Well... lets hope Sy takes after Farrah in the accident department or you guys better get supplemental insurance, Aflac, stock in Band-aids and a giant tub of neosporin! Hope you get to come home today!! Your cousins are anxiously waiting to see you... LOVE YOU!!
I won't be as long winded as Knecht but I do want to say it has been really great watching Sy's first 3 days of life!!!! He is so lucky to have such great parents. Before you know it you will be having his 1st Birthday like Mason is having is having on Saturday....time flies so enjoy every minute of it. We are thinkingof you and praying that the little squirt will be home soon to keep you up all night!! Take Care and can't wait to meet the future Hall of Famer!
