Monday Update

Well it seems that Sy has gotten better in most regards, we are still waiting on one test to come back this evening. If the test comes back negative we are good to go, if not he will have to stay here another week. Time will tell the tale I suppose, but he seemed in great spirits this afternoon. The people here have been awesome in walking us through everything, and making sure we understand what is going on. Farrah went through a spurt of pain last night but has been doing very well today. She has gotten up and walked around quite a bit. I will keep all of you in blog world up to date when the test comes back, hopefully Sy will be laying here with me and give me some insight on what to say to keep you entertained.

Here I sit one whole day after holding Syler in my arms for the very first time - it was a feeling I can not explain - I felt truely special to have this precisous gift laying in my arms given to me by two of the most improtant people in my life: my son and daughter-in-law! I would like to say thank you but those words do not seem to be enough for what I am feeling but those are the only words I know so - Jason and Farrah thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me a grandmother and giving me this very very special grandson! The love, joy and happiness I feel in my heart for the three of you can not be spelled out with words. I wish you more love, joy and happiness than you will ever know what to do with. Dad and I were thrilled that we could be with you to share on your journey to becoming a family. It was a long day and at times a very trying day but we were so very grateful that you shared that day with us. Papa is very proud and was hoping I would get pictures uploaded and printed to show everyone. He called numerous times today to see if I had any news about our Grandson Sy.I would like to also say Farrah you did a great job and were a trooper all the way. Your journey to motherhood has not been an easy one and you did a wonderful job. Jason you have held it all together for everyone and thank you for all the caring. We are anxiously waiting until we see the three of you again. Just let us know when we can come. We send our love to each one of you - you each have a very special place in our hearts....wishing you more, love, fun, joy and laughter than you will ever know what to do with...Nana aka Mom aka Marcia, Papa aka Dad aka Neil

Congratualations Team Sonnenberg!

Good to see the excitement in the postings! Understood Jason when you talk about the traits of your new son, but understand that everybody reading these are praying that Sy gets the looks and brains from Farrah. Glad also to see that Syler is nearly taller than his dad already, the world can't handle another Sonnenberg point guard.

Farrah, I want to give you a word of encouragement, my wife had 3 c-secs and she was sore too. It gets better quickly so hang in there. I recommend multiple short walks and multiple pain killers! Jason, no one is impressed that you can beat Farrah in a sit up contest for the first time in your life.

Real happy here in Kenosha for the 3 of you. Ja, don't eat all the cafeteria food and Farrah, we all wish you the best of luck raising your two boys...Jason and Syler.
