At children's, dad and JJ sleeping together in the crib. He has his IV, oxygen and heart monitor on, he is also naked because his fever was almost 105 and they were cooling him
These pictures are at Kenosha Hospital before the surgery, except this one. This is before he went into Respiratory Failure-probably about 15 minutes before
He is getting ready to go into surgery
We are so very pleased to announce that JJ is home from the hospital! We are so very thankful for all the support of our families and friends with this scary time. Thank you to Nana and Papa for taking Sy and Aunt Jodi for having him all week! Sy also had his tubes in so this was tough on him. He was confused on why he had to leave us right after the hospital and then not to see us again until Friday.
JJ is a strong, little boy. He lost 3 pounds this week and wants to be held a lot but doing fantastic! We were in isolation all week because of his Pneumonia, so JJ was in a chair or in a bed. He did great with it, mostly because he was so sick. He then has Strep Throat and this is what kept him from eating or drinking because it hurt so much! He is doing great now! Thank Goodness!
Our thoughts:
JJ, we were so worried about you, we wept seeing you lay there,
watching the life being pulled from you,
what could we do? We prayed and prayed that God would let us keep you
with time he showed us that you were here to stay, just to pray
all the love and support was clear,
you are loved so much, stay strong and fight
You did, thank you, all was turned right!
Dad and I could not imagine life without you
thank you, thank you for fighting the fight little boy!
We love you forever and ever, oh what a joy!
