Cookout at the Clarks

Daddy and Sy got some alone time Saturday so you know we shared some jokes and laughs while mommy was gone. As soon as mommy left I threw the redirection and extinction book out the window. I was trying to arrange a play date with the neighborhood girl but Sy wasnt in the mood for anything except chillin out and watching the Cubs game. Sy pretended he was his great grandpa for a lil bit and slept through most of the game. He did wake up for the 9th but probably wished he hadnt.

After that it was off to Farrah's fams for a cookout, although he wanted a nice thick Tbone we had to stick to the basics of either breast milk or formula. I know not much for choices but you got to take what you got to take. He even wanted a Smore, so i snuck a lil marshmallow to him just to give him a taste of the future.

While we were there we decided to join Hair club for men, some might think it is too early for that but he started with very lil hair and has lost some more recently. Daddy was at least 25 when he started losing his hair. Dang younger generations got to do everything quicker now a days.

After the cookout Sy and I went to the local tavern where we saw another crazy situation take place.....

A string walks into a bar with a few friends and orders a beer. The bartender says, "I'm sorry, but we don't serve strings here."

The string walks away a little upset and sits down with his friends. A few minutes later he goes back to the bar and orders a beer. The bartender, looking a little exasperated, says, "I'm sorry, we don't serve strings here."

So the string goes back to his table. Then he gets an idea. He ties himself in a loop and messes up the top of his hair. Then he walks back up to the bar and orders a beer.

The bartender squints at him and says, "Hey, aren't you a string?"

And the string says, "Nope, I'm a frayed knot."
